BabuSpace is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Account details you provide when signing up — including your name, email address, phone number, and profile photo.
Property listing information you submit as a host — such as property address, photos, pricing, and amenity details.
Booking data — including check-in/check-out dates, guest counts, special requests, and payment method references.
Device and usage data — such as approximate location (city-level), browser type, and how you interact with the app.

To facilitate bookings, process payments securely via Base44 Payments, and deliver check-in guides.
To verify identity for trust and safety — both guest ID verification and host verification.
To send booking confirmations, check-in reminders, and follow-up messages via email and in-app notifications.
To improve our search, pricing recommendations, and AI trip-planning features.
To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse of the platform.

Hosts can see the first name and booking details of guests who book their properties.
Guests can see host display names, property locations, and verified status badges.
We never sell your personal data to third parties.
Payment card details are handled entirely by our payment provider — BabuSpace never stores full card numbers.

We use local storage to remember your preferred currency, region, theme (dark/light), and wishlist items.
We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
You can clear local storage at any time from your browser settings — this will reset your preferences.

Active booking records are retained for the duration of your stay plus 7 years for tax and legal compliance.
Reviews and ratings are retained indefinitely as they contribute to host performance scores.
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us.

Access — you can view your personal data from your Profile and Settings pages at any time.
Correction — you can edit your profile information, property listings, and preferences directly in the app.
Deletion — you can request full account deletion by contacting our support team.
Opt-out — you can disable non-essential notifications (deals, marketing) from Settings → Notifications.
